A multimedia update.

Gonna post in pictures and videos today. That'll explain Saturday.

Friday was interesting. This city does not sleep. Ever. I went to dinner after work at 10. For drinks after that until about 2. Then down to Hansang park by the river. THEN, went to Dongdaemoon market. At 4 AM there was still people shopping. Not like a couple of people here and there. The district was packed. People shopping for everything everywhere. And that's normal. Seoul. It's A-Mazing.

I didn't go rafting this weekend. Due to a lack of rain-ironic isn't it? Maybe another time.
I went to Gyeongbuk Palace instead.

Here's some pics and a video of that.

(Last one to remind you that it's not all palaces and zen over here)

and video

A changing of the guards and the palace gates. It was quite the ordeal.

Brett,

Fun to read your commentary of events. I just caught up on all your adventures, and have been laughing out loud...at your Korean name... and the soldier stories... too funny! It's great to hear that you are really taking advantage of what the area has to offer, and seeing it all!

How accountable are you for your student's progress? Do you do pre and post testing? Is it very stressfull... making sure each student improves? I got a kick out of the fact that your classes were cancelled for a week...or 2!

How much longer will you be there?

You are going to have such a great record of your stay throught this blog. Keep it up! And I hope your body survives! (How are your back and knees?)
